DES MOINES, Iowa – Staff Sgt. Hillary Bor, from the World Class Athlete Program at Fort Carson, wins his first U.S. Track and Field Championship July 27, 2019, and takes home the gold medal in Des Moines, Iowa. Bor, a 2016 Olympian and Iowa State graduate, won the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a new Drake Stadium with a record time of 8 minutes, 18.05 seconds. He will race in the World Track Championships in Doha, Qatar, in October 2019, to represent Team USA.
